Lesson Description

This lesson covers definitions of neurodiversity, the value and importance of recognising neurodiversity, and guidance for promoting an inclusive and accessible workplace. ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, epilepsy, Tourette's syndrome, autism, and other learning and mental health differences are on the neurodiversity spectrum. We look at neurodiversity as a professional asset, perspectives on disability, and the importance of challenging discriminatory practices. We cover ways to foster genuine inclusion, promote active listening, and prioritise clear communication. We finish on a note about allyship and employee resource groups.
